A Message from the Rector
Welcome to this dynamic, diverse community of Christian faith, where our core mission is to accept, nourish and send through worship, learning and service.
We’re a vibrant congregation involving people of all ages and backgrounds. We cherish beauty and dignity in our worship. We love to sing and make music. We’re committed to learning, to the ongoing journey of faith seeking understanding. We relish the presence and participation of children in the life of church as well as affiliated St. Richard’s School. We also strive to put our faith into action beyond these walls. Indeed, with various outreach ministries and collaborations clustered together here on campus, we’re not only a congregation—we’re a center for urban ministry.
As Episcopalians, we hold to the ancient faith of the church. Yet our tradition also gives us a solid basis from which to ask hard questions, explore and try new things, be creative, and connect ancient faith to life in today’s world. What binds us together is the spirit of the living Christ who moves among us and moves us forward through life’s joys and struggles.
Come join us for worship or a visit.
