Holy Baptism
At Trinity, baptism is incorporated into regular worship services. Baptism is the outward and visible action that connects a person to God in a convenant relationship, and so it belongs in public worship rather than private ceremony.
A one-hour rehearsal is scheduled for the Saturday morning preceding the baptism Sunday. If you have an older child or an older sibling of a baby being baptized, we have a special presentation including the Godly Play baptism story and a child-friendly tour of the church. Contact a member of the clergy to schedule baptism and Stephanie St. John to schedule baptism preparation.
Please contact a member of the clergy at least two weeks before the baptism date for a baptismal form.
The next baptismal date is Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 7 p.m., the Great Vigil of Easter.
