Prayers

The Larger Church
We pray for the church throughout the world; for the Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East; for our companion Dioceses in the Sudan and in Brazil; for the Episcopal Church, particularly for Katharine our presiding bishop; for the Diocese of Indianapolis and our bishop, Cate; for the postulants and candidates for Holy Orders; for St. Richard's School, our companion in ministry; and for our own parish, Trinity Church.

Thanksgivings
We give thanks for the baptism today of Addison Grace Pantzer; for mothers, godmothers and grandmothers and those who are like mothers to us; for youth who are preparing for pilgrimage by washing cars today.

Our Leaders and the Military
We pray for George, our President, and leaders everywhere; for goodwill among all nations, and for the well being of all people; for justice and peace everywhere; for military personnel known to us who are serving our country abroad, especially Jim Lerums; Ryan Hackett; Chris Yarde; Chuck Honaker; Jennifer Bowen; Christopher Bowen; Kelly Townsend; Michael Bissett; Shannon Bissett; Andrew Summers; Tim Smoke; Alex Burke; Chris Strickland; Jacob Hurt; Robert Vest; James Byrd; Will Cheesman; John Popp; Jason Weise; Steve Spitz; Benjamin Houk; Justin Cottrell; Nate Schauwecker; Ivan Hodes; Steve; Lance Burnside; Audrey Lewis; Stewart Lieber; David Hall; David Lightgabel.
