J2A & Rite-13 Overnight 2008

Trinity's youth program gets back in gear August 23-24 with its annual overnight adventure in Southern Indiana. The Rite-13ers travel to Bradford Woods and the J2A group will stay at Waycross's Hickory Hill. This is a mandatory event for youth.

Medical release forms and deposit were due to the youth office by Aug. 9.

The St. Richards bus will drive us down to Bradford Woods first, then on to Waycross. We leave at 8 am sharp from the south lot of Trinity Church. There will be donuts and OJ for those who skip breakfast to make it on time. We return at 2 pm sharp on Sunday. Parents, do not be late in picking up your teen!

Bradford Woods is part of Indiana University's School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. It is located just south of Indianapolis off of state road 67. The teens will spend the time learning about each other and how to work together as a community. They will be challenged on low and high rope obstacles. Trinity youth have been attending Bradford Woods for more than 12 years.

The focus of the J2A weekend at Hickory Hill will be on their pilgrimage to Pemberton, BC. They will work on their fundraising campaign for the pilgrimage mission work. Be ready for a creative and exciting fundraising effort by the teens. They will also work together on some special projects for Waycross and will cook all the meals.

Please note: There will be no meeting of either youth group Sunday, August 31. The first meeting is September 7. Rite-13ers meet in the youth room (B-12 in St. Richard's basement) and J2Aers in the Corner House. Both start at 9 am.
