Nursery Care
Young children are welcome in Sunday worship and at church events, but nursery care is always available as part of our welcome to our youngest members and their families.
The nursery offers a place where infants and young children can experience the love and care of this community, and it offers parents an opportunity to give their full attention to worship and other church activities.
Childcare is available for infants and children 3 and under, every Sunday morning and at midweek events. Sunday hours are 9am - noon. When there is no Sunday school, children up to 6 years old are also welcome. During Sunday school season, three year-olds may stay in the nursery all morning, or they may join the 3's Sunday school class for a Godly Play story at 10 am. Parents are invited to gather children from the nursery whenever they wish, but the nursery is open until the end of the service or the last child is collected.
The nursery is staffed on Sundays by at least two trained adult caregivers with daycare experience. The room is equipped with cribs, highchairs, changing station, a refrigerator, a child-size restroom and equipment for large motor play. Nursing mothers are also welcome to find a comfortable chair and a bit of privacy. Parents are asked to provide all bottles, diaper gear and clothing in a labeled bag. Extra supplies are stocked for emergencies.
Our nursery is located on the first floor of the St. Richard's School building on 33rd Street, just across the archway from Trinity Church. From the north parking lot on 33rd Street, enter through the gate and turn left at the first set of double doors. Take a few steps through the next double doors, and the nursery is the first room on the left.
