Easter Sunday Egg Roll for the Kids
April 4

No Sunday school. Children receive Easter packets as they enter the church. After the 10:30 service, we have our first-ever Egg Roll (just like at the White House). Weather permitting, we will ahve it on the lawn or in the Lemler Garden. If it happens to rain, stay tuned for a new and innovative place for the Egg Roll! Rain or shine, children will have the chance to roll their Easter eggs to the finish line. Bring your cameras! (Read more about Holy Week and Easter Services.)

New! Trinity Church Shepherd Groups
Some in our congregation have expressed a desire to strengthen ties with one another by creating opportunities to gather in small groups of parishioners outside of the church. In response, we propose an experiment: Trinity Shepherd Groups. Register by April 25.

We will honor our Sunday school teachers durin gthe 10:15 service and have a celebration in the Fortune Room during coffee hour.

Cross of Flowers
Sunday, May 9
One of Trinity's loveliest spring traditions is the Cross of Flowers. In earlier times on this day, Rogation Sunday, Anglican priests would go out to the countryside to bless the fields. In Trinity's version, the children meet in the Holy Innocents' Chapel to put flowers on the cross before processing into the church. At the end of both services, the clergy bless the Cloister Garden.

J2A Annual Car Wash
Sunday, May 9
For a nominal donation, you'll get a clean car and have your car blessed by a priest. All profits go to the youth for their pilgrimage to Iona, Scotland, in 2011.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

A simple way to help
Gardeners, when planting your garden this spring, please plant a row or two for the Mid-North Food Pantry clients. Fresh vegetable items are so expensive and are such a treat. The clients are grateful.

Are you not receiving the e-Pistle every week, even though you signed up for it? Our apologies. Our provider is having diffiiculties getting the newsletter through to a number of people with Comcast e-mail addresses. We're doing a "work-around" until the issue can be resolved. What this means is that you will receive it, but it might be a few days late. Thanks for your patience.

Keep up with what's happening...
...at Trinity, even when you're not here. Sign up for the e-Pistle.
